WAVERLEY WRITERS OF FOWL – 8th REPORT to FOWL COMMITTEE
Waverley Writers of FOWL held its 8th meeting on Sunday, 20th September, 2-4 pm, in the Theory Room in Waverley Library. There were 7 attendees at this meeting, which, once again, meant that we did not have to consider dividing the feedback session into 2 groups.
We received 6 apologies for the meeting, and 6 participants wished to read. All 6 were able to read and receive feedback, which was an excellent outcome. 1 participant, a new member, preferred to wait until next time. In Anne Skyvington’s absence, Dina Davis convened the meeting, and Susan Beinart attended to library and FOWL membership details.
Our next meeting, another feedback session, will take place on Sunday, 18th October, from 2-4 pm in the Theory Room at Waverley Library. Both Anne Skyvington and Susan Beinart will be away for that meeting, so Dina Davis will run it on her own. Because Dina will have so many related tasks to perform, we are not expecting her to write a report as well. So, unfortunately, there will be no October report to the FOWL committee.
Our following meeting, on the 15th of November, will feature Patricia Bernard as guest speaker. Dina Davis will be liaising with Patricia and the library for that session.
